Jacob E. Pate is a candidate for the Board of Education in Scotland County. Jacob has been a citizen of Scotland County his whole life and is a product of the public school system. He was raised up by a high school teacher, Martha Fisher, and by a Military Veteran, Mechanic, and Author, Wayne (Buck) Fisher. Raised in a Christian Household, Jacob accepted his calling and he became an Ordained Minister with River of Life Ministeries and serves there as an Elder. Jacob currently works in Management across the Southeastern border of the country with Advantaged Solutions. He spent many years in Management at Dominos Pizza, managing stores in Laurinburg, Rockingham, and Cheraw SC locations and is very fond of his time there. Pate served on many volunteer boards. He was employed and also volunteered with Scotland Memorial Hospital, employed and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, volunteered on many campaigns over the years and has served the community with the NCDPS as a volunteer with the Re-entry program. Pate has always been active in Scotland County. Pate served as an Assistant Youth Coach of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, teaching discipline, morality, and respect to the youth under his watch while instilling skills for self defense and de-escalation tactics and still trains to this day. Pate also served as a tutor to students in High School/College in American History for different tests. Pate has spent most of his adult life in service to others. Pate hopes to have your vote and using all of his acquired skills, he will help Scotland County to start "Rebuilding Substance in Education".
