Wayne Fisher "Buck" is a Vietnam War Veteran from Scotland County N.C. Born in Billings Mt, Wayne joined the military, serving in the late 1950's and early 1960's and came to NC. He worked at many different farms, where he met his wife Martha Hunt Fisher. Buck worked at John Deere for many years as a mechanic before retiring. Buck is an accomplished author, writing books like "Hagon's Bluff" and "A teenage Rescuer". Hagon's Bluff is available to read at the Scotland County Library and Maxton Library.
