A heart for service: My USO journey

My name is Jacob E. Pate, and I am a proud volunteer with the USO at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to directly support and show respect for our brave military members and their families. It's a privilege to contribute to an organization that provides essential services and a touch of home to those who sacrifice so much for our nation.

Why the USO matters to me

The USO provides vital support to our service members, from offering a place to relax between missions to connecting them with loved ones. My time there has deepened my appreciation for the challenges and sacrifices faced by military families. I believe in giving back to these heroes, and my work with the USO is a testament to my commitment to respecting and assisting those who protect our freedoms.

Commitment to community and country

My involvement with the USO reflects my broader commitment to public service, a value I bring to my campaign for the Board of Education of Scotland County, North Carolina. Just as I advocate for our military members, I will advocate for our students, teachers, and schools. My goal is to ensure a strong, supportive community for everyone, from our youngest learners to our esteemed veterans.

"Jacob's dedication to the USO is truly inspiring. He genuinely cares about our military and goes above and beyond to make a difference."
